With the holidays FAST approaching, like hold on to your tits fast, I’m now finally thinking about what the hell I’m going to serve on Christmas day. Since I cook every single day, spending my whole day cooking on a holiday sounds like my nightmare. That’s not a holiday, that’s just another day of work. But nobody else is going to do it so here we are. And by here, I mean here I am, coming up with delicious treats that take minimal effort. This is how I came up with this recipe – I looked in the fridge, then I looked in the pantry, then I added all those ingredients on top of melted chocolate. BARK. Should this be considered a recipe? Absolutely not. Will a person named Al remind me of how much sugar is in this recipe by leaving a grumpy comment? Absolutely. But here we are, loving every second of this delightful decadent treat.
It has been one hell of an exciting day around here! Jupiter and Saturn aligned in the sky last night, bringing a positive change for all us on this planet. I set my intentions for the year and woke up feeling like anything was possible this morning. I’m not even joking here. I am feeling excited, motivated, and ready to make a difference in the world. Today it might be with some dumbass recipe, but tomorrow it might be through something much greater. Only time will tell. And I made this day even better by picking up my new Tesla. I’ve been leasing a car for 2 1/2 years and I’ve hated it. And since I have the most thoughtful husband, he was going to secretly take over my lease (since his is almost up) and get me the Tesla I planned to buy come July. He wanted to surprise me, but he also didn’t want to pick the color of my car since we have completely different taste. So he surprised me with a test drive then took me into the store to check them out and told me his plan. We were literally in and out of the Telsa store in 20 FREAKING MINUTES. Not 4 hours like every other car buying experience in the past. 20 minutes. Then I picked it up today, used my app to control the car, then went on my merry way. It was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had, right next to Nordstrom.
This car seriously feels like you’re driving a robot. Like you’re in a scene of I, Robot but without the whole robots trying to kill you thing. There are no buttons in the car, just the main screen which you control all through touch, just like your iPhone, Or you can use the Tesla app. When I first started driving it, I didn’t know how to control the temperature so I just hopped on the app and BOOM, controlled the temperature in seconds. Absolutely delightful. Elon Musks’ brain is crazy. I feel like he has forever changed the car and car buying experience. It felt like I was buying a t-shirt – it was streamlined and simple, just like when you purchase something online. No one was pushy or slimy or rude, like every other car experience I’ve had in the past. Tesla feels like the future and I’m pumped to be on that bandwagon. And speaking of good days, I have a giveaway to share on instagram so I gotta go! Now go eat some cookie dough!
